Let's give away some prizes!

Yes, finally, it is here! All the pre-post articles lead us to this moment.. this one moment when all will be revealed on how you can win that glorious thing called loot!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this point. As you can see in the photo below, I have had a really big month worth of hits due to the Games Day Germany content!

In August I received almost DOUBLE what I had for visitors and hits than the previous month of July. Which was already my best month at almost 10,000 views! So a massive THANK YOU! for following, looking, commenting, and sharing my posts!

But your not all too interested in that though are you.. so.. how can you win prizes here? Well, most of you are pretty familiar with the blog prize criteria, so it should be pretty straight forward for you.

But for those who are not familiar with it, let's lay it out on the line here then, shall we?

Rules are as follows..

  • Be a follower of the blog! Pretty simple. You can see the followers app on the left of the blog here. Just click on the Join this Site if you haven't already.
  • Comment on this article! Again, pretty simple. Even a "Hello World" comment will suffice!

Do this and you are entered into the contest!

But wait, there's MOAR!

If you also share this post on your blog and I will give you a second entry into the contest! 2 chances to win! Whoo hoo!

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd.... if your comment is more than just a Hello World, and states what you like about this blog or what you would like to see more of, I will give you ANOTHER chance to win, for a total of 3 entries into the contest!

So here are the prizes once more!

I will keep this contest open until Monday, Sept 9th. So you have until then to comment, share, and enjoy this post for your chance to win! I will throw all the names into a big hat or bowl or something that names can be pulled out of. And draw for the prizes in order. See what lady luck gives us for all of the items up for grabs here. So again, you have until Monday, Sept 9th to enter, and that is until I post the ending post which is currently scheduled for Noon Turkish time. Basically same time this is posted, but a week later.

BUT.. this is not all! I have a super secret prize that I would be willing to give out.. however it requires a lot of help from all of you! So far my biggest post worth visiting is of the GD Slayer Sword entry from a couple weeks back. It was so popular that it sprang to over 3k views in no time! Well.. I want to beat that goal with this post! So if this post can generate over 3k views, I will throw in a 6th Surprise Prize! Something rare, and that not many people have in their possession already! So.. go forth, share this post, comment on this post, like, google+, facebook, twitter this post.. and help me have a new record post to beat in the future!

You have one week! Go forth, SHARE AND ENJOY!

  1. Congrats on the massive influx of views!

Good timing, I'd just posted the winning results from my contest, so I edited it to direct people here for another shot at winning some items.

The things I'm liking the most about your blog is your dedication to improving as a painter, and seeing that progress. I also like the bits about the different countries you get to live in & travel to. I love to travel, and don't get to do it as often as I'd like (which would be constantly if I had my way) so it's nice to have some vicarious enjoyment of that.

    1. GD Germany really brought a lot of hits, and accelerated my rise to 100k!
Thanks for the kind ( interesting? ) words on your blog also! Very glad to see that Mr Li's Mouse Spectacles is finally taking off!

Glad to know that all this painting is doing what it should be.. improving my quality! And expect more travel and such news in the coming month ;)

    2. Quite welcome.
Mr. Li.. I fear his endeavor is too narrow for great success, but still have to admire the good work. Well, I'm nothing if not odd & random, especially late at night ;)

Good luck, hope you get the same hits or better on this, I'm curious what the other prize would be

  2. Let say Hello from Poland ;)

Maybe at first I will tell you how I have found your blog. It was thanks to masterminis.net I guess and it was a good discovery.

What I like in your blog ?
The layout and mainly your style of writing and the fact that you enjoy your hobby what uers can feel and see through the posts.

What I would change ? Well, it is personal, I don't use Google+ too much. I prefer facebook and I would rather follow your blog by facebook, not by Google. But it is a minor "difficulty" for me ;)

I would like to see some tutorial or just more info about paint used during your projects - ex. Alice or your GD Entry.
I know that I can always ask about it, but sometimes you just don't want to wait ;)

BTW Great GD Entry and nice blue on Alice, congrats :)

About the Give away (or Give-away). I have plugged your post on Google and FB, hope it will help to beat the new record :)

    Good luck !
    Tom

    1. Hello back Tom from Poland! Glad you reached here!
I have been asked if I would set something up on Facebook at some time.. I might have to really look into doing that.. let's see how it goes ;)

More tutorials on how I paint? Mmmm have I gotten to that level? I think something like how I went about doing the GD Duel might be a cool article to do up.. so expect something like that in the future! Thanks for the idea!
      And thanks for the shares!

  3. Hello world!

Naaah just kidding :) I think I did express with my comments what I like on your blog but to sum it up: I love to see all this magic improvements and how attending all those workshops pay off. Pretty amazing!

And I also shared this contest (which I normally don't do) as small "Thank you" for supporting me by commenting and reading in my early blogging days a year ago.

    Keep it rollin'!

    1. Heh.. knew there had to be one that would do that ;)

I am happy that others like my posts about the workshops, and more can see what I have learned from attending them! Money well spent I say!

And I am really happy to get a share post from you on your blog! It has come a long way, and I am really glad that you have stuck with it this long!

      Rollin' on..

  4. I'm in!
    :)

I've just became a follower of the blog, so threes not much I can say about it right now... however I did already find quite a few inspiring painted miniatures (Daemons of Chaos for istance), so more of those would definitely be nice!

    Cheers,
    A.

Plenty more DoC to come in the new year.. once I get moved into my new digs, and can re-focus on them, expect a lot of movement on that army.
I have a Tzeentch Herald on the desk for this month also. Let's see how that turns out!

  6. I remember the first series of posts you were running when I first started following your blog. It was a substantial series of nudes and they were some fun figures. But what I have come to like is watching you progress so rapidly as a painter especially since your time at Massive Voodoo.

Now you know you don't have to give me a prize, but I will be glad to do a promo post and link to this page later this week. Here's to 3,000 more pageviews!

    1. Heh.. that was the beginning of Project UK. And strangely it took a while before those were dethroned as being the most popular posts. Funny that!

Again, and glad to hear that my progress as a painter is spilling through into the rest of my work. Sometimes in more subtle ways though.

And as for the prizes.. well.. you posted.. you have shared, and will share again, and said more than hello world.. so expect to be entered! And yes, let's see more than 3k views for this post please!

Glad you like the models, and even though they are not your bag, am glad you think they are great paintings ;) Still a ways to go on some, but I have massive respect for your ability to do all the historically accurate painting you do over on your blog(s)!

Thanks again! .... Now to wait for Fran's comments.. :)

The projekt "Alice in Wonderland" is definitally your best paint job I have seen, thumbs up fella!

Looking forward to your next projekts ;-) The really best is that you are "real". You write like you are, no mask, no pretending, no fake. Stay as you are Kyle!
