Project Daemons of Chaos: WIP Soul Grinder part 2

Again no photos of the Tzeentch lord.. normally I would do this in the morning, and I was planning on modifying them last night. However I went home sick to recover before a big workshop I have to run today and tomorrow. Hopefully I can crop/resize them this afternoon then.

In the meantime, here is the Soul Grinder that I put together and got 2 hrs of work ( between sneezing and coughing fits ) last night. Legs are glued into place, and the torso is still in pieces and not fully attached yet.

Biggest change in my painting while doing this from when I started is that I am shading the red with a blue wash. Seeing more on the color theory as of late and from the workshop in Germany I can see the effect immediately. Still need to highlight a bit more on the reds I think, but it is not much more work here I hope. Worst case it can be allowed on the table without reduction in painting scores, but it could use more washes/dirtying up.

You can see how big the model is compared to the Daemonette on the left there.

Also put together my second Herald of Slaanesh last night. Hope to get it completed soon as well.

Now off to my workshop.. enough fooling around on the blog-o-sphere for this morning!

    1. Was thinking the same on this model. No idea where to start on it. So I dug in, and then left it, and now I am pushing through it once more!
