WIP: Goblin King
Just a quick photo of the Goblin King in progress.. I am still having a lot of fun with this model, and really playing around with some of the layers on it. Though it is for gaming, so I don't expect to take it much further actually, but it was a good exercise to work on some finer details around the eyes and face. Am hoping to get it finished before Friday, but we will see how time goes..
Enjoy!
Hola
ReplyDeleteBueno muy bueno, esto pinta muy bien
un saludo
Gracias JD
DeleteLooks so cold, I really like it. I can kind of imagine some warm OSL from local flames lighting him up from below. But i like it the way he is now as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks Garfy.. looking at the others, i figured i had a cold trend happening so went just a bit further for the King.. Not sure I will tempt OSL on him as it is still a gaming piece.. but maybe something to think about in the future!
DeleteBeautiful...well, in fact, disgusting, but really impressive, great paintjob, I love it!
ReplyDeleteCheers Phil.. glad you like it!
DeleteGreat job so far :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Brummie.. always appreciated!
DeleteStunning work as always.
ReplyDeleteYou humble me Dean.. thanks for the compliment :)
DeleteReally great work on him so far. It's almost making me want to buy the starter to paint him. Almost.
ReplyDeleteHeh.. I fell for the trap after seeing a few at the last GDs.. that and the watching of the movies a few times hasn't helped me any neither :)
DeleteThat really is a wonderful piece of work, lovely job.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that Michael.. now to keep going :)
DeleteWe recently saw the film and I think you have done a great job on this miniature.
ReplyDeleteTony
Thanks Tony! Cheers for the nice compliment!
DeleteYour work with contrast and light and shadow can be well seen in this piece! Steady improvment, I like that!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment.. really appreciate it! Was the direction I was heading, but I know it can be done more. But this is just a "quick" test model to get back at painting again :) Let's see what happens when I begin to work on better pieces once more! Cheers!
