Project UK: More Grey Coats
So the weekend is over, and well we're back at it.. so what better way to kick off the week than with some photos!
This lot of 5 gents were left overs of the Grey colored Imperial Guards. Seems that the special weapon users were from other origins, and damn nice sculpts if I might add!
The color scheme worked really well with these guys. No changes made to them from the other bunch, except that the sculpts themselves are a bit different.
My favorite is the guy on the far left with the full 1 piece goggle set. The orange really came out nicely there, and I think it was a good color scheme from the client.
The guy with the broken arm was nice to paint up, as it allowed me to see what grey coats would look like in the newer IG models.
Quick shot of the older Grey Coats with some orange goggles also below..
Again, the orange just helps to break up the grey. Really liked them. Hope you do too!

Nicely done. simple yet effective looking paint scheme as well.
ReplyDeleteThese sculpts really fit the scheme better then the older Rogue Trader guys. Might even adopt it for my rag tag bunch of IGs kicking around.
DeleteThese are some nice looking figures. Nice brushwork.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne. They were a lot of fun to do up too.
